If it is the charge that flow throughout an electric circuit then why do we call them the flow of electrons whats the physics behind that.

An electric current is a flow of electric charge.

Movement of electrons in a wire carry this charge in electric circuits.

Flow of charge is basically the same as flow of electrons. What actually is microscopically happening is that electrons are flowing from the negative to positive terminal, charge is just a basic property of the electrons.
