Hi all,

I'm thinking of transferring to UTS Business/Engineering. Currently at UNSW, doing Science/Optometry. What are my chances of getting in?

- Failed twice
- WAM 51
- UAI 97.5
- Academic Standing not good, after this semester should be fine

really? i would say otherwise - i know for business its a WAM of at least 65-75. i'm guessing with a double degree it would probably be the same. they may take your uai into account but it will be primarily based on uni marks.

I thought they will consider your UAI and your uni marks as well? Half half?
Coz my friend wants to transfer. Besides, you need to aply tru UAC as well. And if I'm not mistaken.. if you apply now, you will have to pay the late fees, etc

Actually I just saw his WAM.. it sucks.

yeah they do take uai into account, but its more of a 75 uni/25 uai split

but the wam is really important - it really does need to be a credit at least
