some guy at my school hired a tutor to sit the test for him. The supervisors found out coz the guy was in his mid 40s.

well, technically if your markers hadn't yet read out the rules for examination stating that if they have accidentally brought in any study materials to hand them over now for no penalty. Then he can get away with it...

But it's obvious that his intentions were to cheat

I guess that was pretty smart of him
Because yea, even if he doesn't answer the question
He would still get decent marks if the prepared essay had a good argument and changed it so that it would suit the question
I guess he should've pulled them out like during the exam so it wouldn't be as sus

He's still a loser for trying to cheat though

But that draws a question, if you are seen cheating like talking to other people about answers, will they catch you straight away and say boom? Or will they wait until you're gone and secretly smite you with a "Talking" on the front of your paper?

You can't get away with it in Maths..

For English you can still get marks for knowing your text well by ranting on about something completely offtrack
Plus, the questions for modules A and C were quite generic this year

Edit: Oh and I discourage cheating. Cheating is for losers
Apparently there's a dropkick from my grade who pulled out his notes and started copying them. He didn't get caught though
That's what one of my friends told me and the funny thing is, that dropkick never showed up to today's exam
