I have an essay question which asks :

"Discuss the impacts of globalisation on economic growth, economic development and the quality of life of a country other than Australia"

Trouble is, there are 'factors to be included", distribtion of income, trade, investment, technology, foreign affairs, human rights, labour, finance, technology and government strategy.

And I have no idea how to incorporate all this into a monstrous essay. Any ideas ?

i've just bin slaving away writing the same essay (relatively the same thing) so yeah i've got a pretty fair idea of wat 2 write.

you've firstly gotta start by outline the coutry's involvement in globalisation. mention trade ie imports exports free trade agreements, investment ie FDI DIA and capital formation, technology, labour and finance.

then analyse its impact on the country. look for shocks in the business cycle corresponding to the world business cycle, inequalities of income, environmental damage, worker exploitation, economic development and growth, education levels, life expectancy and increases in the quality of life.

try and have a balanced viewpoint, and then evaluate whether it was for the better or the worse at the end of your essay.
