My parents see the negatives of riding a motorbike and not the positives, so its definitely not easy to get them on the positives track
some things to say:
- better fuel economy
- cheap to run and maintain
- holds resale value
- can stop anywhere
- can lanesplit so won't be stuck in traffic
- LAMS course and strict rules during your learning and P's
- Looks badass and alpha as fk

I have narrowed my list for 1st car.

- Toyota Corolla 1999 (seca) 1.8l FWD hatch AE112R
- Toyota Celica 1997
- Mazda MX6
- Mazda 323 Astina

Which one should i get.
don't get an mx6 or celica, both have nothing and are shitboxes. The 323 is reliable and the sp20 looks not bad considering it's age. What's your budget?

Excellent pointers, not just for myself, but for the others who are in the same situation as me

has he ever ridden before?
People have told my dad about their own experiences of riding a motorbike, they immediately tell him about their injuries sustained in the past such as broken bones, hospitalisation...the lot basically. Plus in my neighborhood a motorbike would be stolen easily if it is appealing or non appealing even though the property would be fenced.

cruiser on Lams isn't worth it imo, cruisers are heavy and not that manoeuvrable, best to start on a naked or sport like a cbr250.
True.
I really love this style of motorbike. Maybe this is good for Lams

keep it in a garage or even in your house? Also, why not take your dad to do a LAMS course too and then show him a beautiful ducati 899 panigale.
