Nope. Terry Lee only does Ext. 1 and 2Does Terry Lee put up 2U solutions or does no one care about 2U?
Why don't you just get it at this thread?Anyone mind scanning the paper and posting it here?
Ah...Nope. Terry Lee only does Ext. 1 and 2
But you can find general, 2 unit, ext. 1 and 2 at itute.com.
Unlike Carrotsticks and Terry Lee, itute take their time getting solutions up. Maybe in a few weeks.
The Board of Studies will also publish solutions - but much later. Maybe even next year!
I wrote this aswell, but because S'PS is not 90 you cannot say CosB, you need to say sin <QPS (confirmed by Carrot). Hopefully they'll be nice to us and award us a mark but it's doubtful [since incorrect].Just wondering, for Question 16b, if I resolve the forces for iv and v, would I be able to get 1 mark each? For iv, I just wrote and for v, I wrote .
Crap. I didn't realise that because I forgot that P lies on an ellipse, not a circle.I wrote this aswell, but because S'PS is not 90 you cannot say CosB, you need to say sin <QPS (confirmed by Carrot). Hopefully they'll be nice to us and award us a mark but it's doubtful [since incorrect].
What if I labelled 'alpha' on the diagram but did not say 'let QPS = alpha'?Just like you let you had to let
Diagram in your answer booklet right? Could be ok I guess, surely they'd work it out. What if I labelled 'alpha' on the diagram but did not say 'let QPS = alpha'?
Phew! lol (yeh diagram in my answer booklet)Diagram in your answer booklet right? Could be ok I guess, surely they'd work it out.
Here are the solutions to this year's MX2 paper!

A huge thank you to all who pointed out any computational errors!
thatd probs be 3/4 wouldnt it? carried on errors... as long as you did an ibpWill I get anything for the e^x volumes question if I did exactly what u did, BUT I replaced the 4-x with 3-x? I would think since I got so close to the answer and obviously knew what I was doing, even if I messed up 1 number, I should at least get 1/4 right?
fuck YEAAAthatd probs be 3/4 wouldnt it? carried on errors... as long as you did an ibp
O yea, also with curve sketching, I slightly messed up x intercepts of 2nd graph, but shape is identical, as well as clearly distinguishable y intercept rather than (0,0), what would I get for it? 2/3 or 3/3?How is the curve sketching marked?
Is it 3 for right graph and 0 for anything else?
