Is agriculture a dying industry amongst the youth of Australia?
Help me get a kickstart in my Ag career by voting for me in the bid to win a 20,000 dollar scholarship! Through gaining your vote I am determined to ensure I get the best education possible at CSU!

Hi there,

Unfortunately, your link doesn't work. It requires a password?

Ag is a dying industry in the youth of Australia. There's too much narrowmindedness in what can be achieved in the industry.

This site might interest you, http://www.ausagcareers.tumblr.com

“Careers in Australian Agriculture” aims to connect with young adults in urban & rural
Australia who may have never considered a career in agriculture. It aims to repair the
distorted vision of food and fibre production which has arisen with the city and country
disconnect, and show that the agricultural industry is Interesting, Innovative and Important.

I completed my Honours project with a B. Ag Science at USyd last year and am wrapping up my degree through UNE this semester.

Careers in agriculture are limitless, just have get into it and have a go.

I recommend you have a chat with the academics in the faculty.

Having worked for the Faculty before, I know they are really big on helping students with career paths.
