I think theyre broadening their selection criteria because there is more demand than supply of graduates wanting to do accounting. But what about other discriplines? esp quantitative. eg Actuarial Studies, Finance

That's what I mean, what someone said before, Honours is useful in quantitative economics and finance, but not in all commerce disciplines. Look at the RBA - you need an Honours or masters degree in finance or economics just to apply!
