Want to do UTS B Business, single degree

UTS B business = 91.00

UTS B business/B (science, engineering....) = 85-86

so can u drop the b science or b engineering??...

btw no idea at all about uni process...

It is possible to transfer from a double degree to a single degree vice versa.
(Transferring from a single to a double usually requires a higher average)

You need to attain a certain average in your first year. The average required depends on suppy/demand but I do believe some institutions can guarantee a transfer if your average is over a certain level.

Just do your best to maximise your average and submit the transfer documentation to the relative Faculty prior to the date deadline.

Good luck.

wait a sec....

so you have to be doing good in a degree to drop it

i dont know if i clarified my position correctly but

for some reason at UTS

doing a single degree in B business needed 91

doing a double degree in B business + (another one) needed 85-86

i cant get into 91 course but i can get into one of the 85-86 courses

scenario:
i get into b business/ b science
could i just drop the b science and do a single b business... doesnt have to be immediate but if i could when could i????

I don't know about UTS but at Macquarie if you are doing combined science/law for example you can drop down to the science component straight away - it might be different depending on the degree look at the UTS website for transfers.

You'll need to wait till end of first year and apply for an internal course transfer. While I think you're supposed to do a mix of business and the other course, I know a friend of mine did only business courses for first year and is trying to transfer from business/it into business

from double to single - yes.

they have RECOMMENDED subject listing you should do to complete both degrees in 5 years, but just ignore it and choose your own subjects

you just choose all the business subject same as what u would in a single degree.

basically a double degree allows you to choose twice the amount of subjects. it doesnt force you to take the recommended course would be a mix of degree A and degree B subjects.

then after the first semester you can formally change to a single degree.
