Okay so it's term 2.
I spent most of term 1 not really sure about what I wanted to do, and as a result, I didn't work very hard.
I have looked at almost everything now, and after a very, very, long and extensive search I have basically returned to where I started...which is, of course, Medicine.
So basically now I NEED to work EXTREMELY hard.
I would MUCH prefer to do a Medicine Undergraduate for obvious reasons over the Graduate route and thus need a High 90's ATAR. I'm going to aim for about 95+.
Problem is, I want to find out if it's even still possible given my current results. Any help from people who were in a similar boat as me, or just know how this stupid ATAR calculation works would be of great help!
I've already had a few SACs and my scores are as follows:
Psychology:
-92%
-81%
Biology:
-74%
-66%
-94%
Mathematical Methods:
-70%
English Language:
-53%
Chemistry:
N/A
We haven't gotten our Chemistry SACs back yet but I'm fairly sure I've received at least A's (80%+) in the two of them.
My shoddy score in English was a one-off, I'm actually an A+ English student, and that score was both a mixture of a lack of effort and not answering the questions properly.
Given these scores, am I able to achieve a 95+ ATAR score if I start acing everything else?
(I am well aware of how hard it will be, but I need to know it's at least possible)
P.S.: I am in Victoria or those wondering.
