Yeah, I was pretty pissed off (it's happened halfway through year 11 and I still go on about it. Lol).
Especially because I only came 9th internally for English when I should've been higher and because English was still my lowest scaling subject even though I topped my school externally.

If you Band 6 in Standard English, it really has a negative effect on your ATAR. The point is that not a lot of people get Band 6 in Standard and so you have a very high chance of it being detrimental to your ATAR.

That mark is still equivalent to ~98 ATAR of something. lol

At the beginning I was coming 2nd by a tiny gap with no work but as the year went on no work didn't work for me and I came 2nd last by like 1 mark and then got 78 in the exam. Lol
I also had a brain fizz in the exam but it was still my second highest scaling subject. Lol
