Ok i just got a letter from uts, apparently all engineering students have to go on a 3 day camp in an undisclosed rural location. AND ITS COMPULSORY. this sucks

who cares about the study their going to this camp will make u more confident when u start uni as u will be making new friends and everyone is in the same boat as u so by the time u start uni u might have formed ur own study group hehe this camp maybe be a great way to improve ur self identity and enter the newer social world

im going but im only going to find an excuse to get pissed (as im taking booze with me, good luck trying to take it ill stab u if u try.), also its the best excuse to get out of work

EDIT: also my best mate is going to the same camp with me so its gonna be good for us but as you might not have anyone going with you then dogg it i guess, more room for us hahahahahaha

They want you to thinks it's compulsory. That's how they make money of you and also get you to sign up for the Eng. society.

The camp is not compulsory people. I and many other's didn't go last year.

Altough I hear it's fun, get bbq and alcohol that is if you're 18

That sucks how you have to go on a camp, and a mystery location??? It's like those mystery flights where they could fly you to 'any exotic location in the world' with the actual destinations consisting of Dubbo,Gosford, Tamworth, and across the tarmac to the international terminal.
