Hey!

Does anyone know what we have to dress like for a cadetship? I got accepted into an accounting cadetship at the Audit Office of NSW but i'm not sure what I have to wear. They didnt mention it. My first day is on monday...

Should I just wear a suit? What do you guys in a cadetship right now wear?

Thanks!

speaking of cadetships/working

im presuming uni exams are all at the same time for a course regardless of your tut/lexc times - how do ppl who work get to the exams?

Cadetship people take off leave for your study and exams.
My friends who work in firms like this told me they get about 5 weeks off for the whole year- for study

so thats about 2.5 weeks each semester

suit is good. You don't need the tie, but blazer shirt pants etc.
yes wear a suit. but wear a tie!!!

dunno how relaxed the audit office is, but definately wear a tie for your first day. in my office the only day a guy can get away without wearing a tie is casual friday..

Make sure you dress up on your first day (in the office, or a client), and then you may be able to get away with just a shirt and trousers.

But definitely a suit and tie on the first day.

Does it matter if you have a cadetship or not? Is it just work experience that you get paid for?

only idiots turn up on there first day without a tie.

even if they have told you its ok not to wear a tie, its your first day, your better off giving a first good impression.
