I just got back from Byron, went up there for the blues fest for 7 days. My warning is, do not start the bouncers at cocomangas and cheeky monkies!! There guys are well over 100kg and peaking off there heads. My idiot mates got into a fight with the cocomangas bouncers who then proceeded to throw them out on the road jump on top of them and punch the shit out of them. The locals then jumped in and we were in trouble. My mate has broken his hand and the rest of us ended up with concussion. The doctor at emergency said these bouncers are notorious for sending people to emrgency. They go over the top. Another thing, watch out for the local sleeze bags.

That's when I'm going... We've got a group of 13 in two houses... It took us ages to find somewhere decent. Most places were booked. But it's going to be wild.

Byron's locals are very protective and will pick fights with anyone over the stupidest of shit then have the rest of byron jump in for them.

I'll probably be at byron first and third weeks, I live like half an hour away anyways.
