I've bought my 480w trueblue powersupply from custo, everything went smoothly, ive bought aLOT from msy and its alright

but if you guys want good customer service you can go to the city to computerworld and pay that extra $10 on a computer part for good customer service, the less you pay on a part, the less you expect to get customer service, profit has to go somewhere

Yeah I've heard bad stories about MSY having dodgy parts, hence I'm going for Custo.

personally i had no troubles, but i mean if thats the case, if your building a comp you might spend an extra $20-$30 on at least a place thats reputable and got a name in the city maybe

its just when its $50, $100, etc.. its worth the risk

No, its still not worth the risk. I once got dodgy parts and they fried the comp in like the first month.

I'd rather pay $1100 for a computer that I know is going to work than $1000 for one which might not.

But building your own comp can cut the price by 30%-50%
