Have you asked yourself why there might be evidence that suggests that. Firstly, remote regional aust. doesnt get the quality of education that we get. 2ndly there is still also racism against them hindering selfesteem and attitude towards them (thanks for pointing it out).
3rdly matters at home play a huge part in this. Even though this is true for everyone, it seems that the racism and previous aust policies are still having an impact on generation after generation, the remnants influencing what type of childhood is experienced.

As you said, they are people, we are people, everyone is people. Stuff like this needs to be taken in on a case by case basis

I would place a fairly large bet that alcohol had MUCH MORE to do with this than inherent racism.

The ability for self-awareness is arguably defunct and they act only marginally more coherently than an epileptic.
