I recently broke my laptop and its impossible for me to get a new one this year with the amount of money I have (self dependent). Really bad timing I know
I was wondering how hard it would possibly be to go without a laptop for the rest of this year.

Umm, I mean if you have a PC at home you can just use that for studying but when you go to school its going to be inconvenient using school laptops to do your work in. I mean you could work on the cloud/google apps so you can continue work on school stuff at home but you won't be able to save anything on a school laptop or access anything you might've got from home.

I doubt its pointless wondering how hard it would be without a laptop for the rest of the HSC if you really can't get an alternate device similar to a laptop and you'll have to tough it out if that's the case. Personally I'd always want a laptop with me since its where I have all my resources and stuff saved to and I can access them everywhere so I'd try to find a way to replace it or find another suitable solution.

he's self dependent. if he doesnt have a pc at home it's a bit of a rough situation. I think you could manage without owning anything, but it would be best to have at least a chromebook.

If he does have a PC, it's probably pretty manageable.
