I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could obtain an example of a brief to senior counsel. I've had a look on lexisnexis.au but can't seem to find one?

Assuming you have access to the College of Law Practice Papers through lexis, have a look at Practice Paper CL206 - Briefing Counsel. There are some examples at the end. Briefing a silk is no different, except you would call it a "Brief to [Queen's/Senior] Counsel".

Judging by the fact you go to UOW, the timing of this question, and the rather specific subject matter, I'm guessing that you might be doing a certain Evidence assignment at the moment. If you are (and you've probably figured this out by now), I wouldn't go too in depth with the format of the answer. Mostly everyone I know is answering it like any other problem question, but with a 'We advise that...' thrown in for good measure. It's impossible to squeeze something like CL206 into a 7 page answer.

Just thought I'd contribute. Good luck.
