knew i shoulda went for harewood in the first place, but instead i chose zamora

But in a NORMAL situation (one where the defender doesn't score 2 goals) a striker is more likely to get the points, no?

It really depends on who your team plays for and their opposition (obviously). Clean sheets are 3 points for defenders and strikers get 2 points for a goal i think?
