Magic's Price by Mercedes Lacky made me cry multiple times. "That" scene was terrible.

The one that springs to mind is Vampire Academy's third and fourth books. Shadow Kiss and Blood Promise...

:( poor dimitri. poor rose for having to deal with all of it. Richelle mead wrote it in such a way that it was really hard NOT to cry..

If the outsiders is gonna make you cry? (i didnt)
The Road will make you depressed. its a hard book to read... But the last few pages are very heart breaking.

The only book EVER! which a character died and tears started to appear in my eyes...
BUT I FOUGHT IT OFF!

Fundamentals of Engineering Thermodynamics - Moran/Shapiro
First Course in Statistics - McClave/Sinich

as well as

HP & the Deathly Hallows (didnt actually make me cry, just very depressed and nostalgic as a major part of my childhood and adolescence was coming to an end)
One flew over the cuckoos nest - kesey. when randle becomes a vege
Power of One
and this book about a Laborador that dies. His name was Toby. I named my cat after that dog. Man that was a good picture book. Will never forget it (except the name of the goddamn book )

oh and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas had me balling (both book and movie)

I also got teary in the eleventh Poldark book (this massive 18th century Cornish saga) and chapter 24 of Catching Fire (if you've read it, the bit with the locket. I am in love with Peeta)

I was extremely sad after reading Death of a Salesman. It wasnt just about the death of willy, but something so true about what Miller describes.
+ 1 Exactly.

Also "To Kill A Mockingbird" as someone has already mentioned and

"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" - the tower.

Criminal Laws: Materials and Commentary on Criminal Law and Process of New South Wales makes me go all sad and emotional. The book is 1302 pages of endless waffling.
