The board of studies requirements state that students have to do at least four subjects. I'm wondering: are extensions separate subjects by this rule - for example, is maths extension 2 counted as a separate subject to maths extension 1?

If they're not, do those four different subjects have to count in my UAI - as opposed to three of the four, etc? The thing is, I'm doing both Maths and English Extension 2, as well as Modern and Legal Studies. (I already have IPT, but I'd prefer not to count it.) I'd like to drop Legal, but not if it means that I'm stuck counting both Modern and IPT, no matter how poorly I do.

I'm pretty sure you'd be fine to drop because you have already accelerated 2 subjects.

you have 14 units atm and i don't see why you wouldnt want ipt to count, that result is great

by 4 different subjects it means maths is one, english is one, science (bio+chem+physics) is one i think ancient and modern are grouped together too. the others are all separate from memory. only thing that interests me is how having 2u and 3u + 4u will work.
