My composition portfolio is due in a few weeks. I haven't started it, although I have finished the composition.

What are some important things I should put in it? Because that's my entire school assesment for this elective.

Cheers.

Your portfolio is supposed to be comprised of draft copies of your compositions, notes by you and your teachers about how those drafts could be improved, how and why you used particular ideas at particular points etc.

I'm not a fan of the composition portfolio as an assessible component, but it is a good learning tool.

Thanks for the reply, man, I kind of thought this section was a bit dead.

I know to put the drafts in, and I know I have to do related listenings, and talk about the general concepts of the genre I'm composing in, and do some self-analysis and stuff, but I was wondering if there's anything more than that.

I guess I was looking for someone to tell me how to structure it, because I've already written the composition, so I don't really know where to start or what direction to go in.
