I never suggested everyone go and buy a DVD-burner.

And as for price, you can get an 8 speed DVD-Burner for $200 - $300.

If you can afford it, definately worth it. Data backups are that much more easier for me. All on one DVD-RW.

still, even if you can afford it,

if you already have a cd-burner, and don't have a use for DVD-burner, then not much point.

but yeah, if you're a softwrae pirate, go for it :)

if you can afford it, and already have one, buy one for me :D

umm i use what ever that actually looks good rofl

i feel that all blanks are the same and that its not worth spending heaps on blanks!!

computer fair at para sells blanks as low as $20 for spindles!

according to JB hi-fis catalogue there normal tdk spindles for 50 are only $20.

cheap huh?

vinyl ones looks nice.

A friend bought some so called 800mb cd's
the imports turned out to be fake branded.

Either that, or some burners or readers dont have updated firmware to recognise the extra 100/200mbs.
