This is actually part of "Social Darwinism", proposed by a Lord Spencer sometime in the 1800s - it's the morally repugnant (well I find it so) belief that the theory of evolution should apply to human society - let the "weak" poor die out and the "strong" rich survive. Darwin himself never used the phrase 'survival of the fittest' - it was coined after he was dead.physician said:Survival of the fittest- umm.. part of Darwin's theory....
