I never bought the Big Issue from him because I get my copies from other vendors (around the city or in Parramatta), so I always felt a little guilty when I walked past him without buying anything.
Do you know how often he's at USYD? I was always curious why he chose USYD as his main selling area, since students are usually hold on to their spare change.
Has anyone spoken to him before? What's his story? Also...if I wanted to interview him, what's the best way to approach him--buy him lunch, make him sandwiches, or just sit down with him the whole day as he sells? Does any of that sound too suss?
