best way to get an umbreon in gold? (1 Viewer)

What times of day can I level up, how friendly does it have to be, How do I make it that friendly?
Can umbreon breed with ditto to give me eevee's?

level up at night.

give it haircuts and feed it iron/calcium/whatever/rare candies, battle with it, make sure it doesnt die, keep it in your party = makes it happy.

pretty sure u can breed umbreon with a ditto to give you an eevee.

I think it's 'your pokemon is really happy, i feel overjoyed just looking at it', but if this is the level 20 one you got from bill, it will be around level 40 depending on how many steps you farm up.

EDIT: As in more steps closer to 30 or even less, just depends how patient you are goin backwards and forwards.

Ah, k, well as long as you do what omie said you should have it soon enough, and if you dont find it too tedious just farm some steps every now and then.

EDIT: There is a woman in one of the houses in one of the first three towns of kanto, she brushes or something which also adds happiness. I have a hunch it's the second (middle) one. Most likely pallet or pewter.

well if you wanna battle with it then i suggest place it in top position :3

but as long as it's in your party, it'll gain happiness as you walk around.
