memento is a really good film, but if you haven't seen it Raging Fuel's quote could easily be taken out of context, the guy's not in love with John G.

Menento: "Memory's unreliable. Memory can change the shape of a room or the colour of a car."

Imagine: "Some say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

The Matrix: "Do you think that's air you're breathing?"

Black Knight : Have at you!
King Arthur : You are indeed brave, sir knight, but the fight is mine.
Black Knight : Oh, had enough eh?
King Arthur : Look, you stupid bastard. You've got no arms left!
Black Knight : Yes I have.
King Arthur : Look!
Black Knight : Just a flesh wound!

people say Shakes was brilliant because he made up new words, actually many of the words weren't made up but just not widely used... (mind you I am a fan)

...the others that he did make up dont show much about his literary ability, he couldnt think of words to express what he meant so he made them up...

...why that's just spolopheric

what importance have we given him in society? i dont think we are worshipping him or anything in such a way. there are others out there with "brains" but thats not what counts. "its not what you do in life, its what you get done."

I was trying to think of a quote for Mement, cos its my second favourite film... thats definitely one of the best quotes...

Here's some more:

"I have to believe in a world outside my own mind. I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can't remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there. Do I believe the world's still there? Is it still out there? ... Yeah. We all need mirrors to remind ourselves who we are. I'm no different. "

" So how.. How can I heal? How am I supposed to heal if I can't feel time?"

" My wife deserves revenge, whether I know about it or not. "

Haha, I never thought of it that way. That line, in the context of the movie, was one of the creepiest moments in movie history.

wt?? don't tell me u don't think we've given him importance...true we don't worship him but he's included in syllabus's in virtually every country that teaches english in every high school grade (well...mainly yr 9, 10, 11, 12 and uni) they teach english at but I did read Shakespeare in yr 6 overseas.

P.S. no offence to all the fans...i'm just giving my point of view.

You're fighting a losing battle. You are trying to start a debate about Shakespeare, one of the greatest writers in history. Sure, he gets alot of attention, but so do others such as Charlotte Bronte and Oscar Wilde. Because he was a genious, he deserves importance.
