gah i like hip hop and some shit here and there but when it comes to driving i can only listen to trance..

i have to listen to music when i drive i cant handle it when there's no music or even when the music is low. i cant remember the last time i drove without having the speakers set to a volume just shy of distortion/muffle shit sound or whatever its called :p

anyway i like
nick skitz - any skitz mix. especially 20. amazing to pump loud when driving. i wish this guy was going to the next transmission!!!
some previous favourites were
sunport- follow me
angelina - pictures of you
pump 69 - smooth criminal
george acosta ft. truth - mellodrama
crw - i feel love (dumonde or isaac mix)
who can forget explorations of space and also 4 strings - take me away

Actually, I don't even drive... so I'm just thinking of songs that I would use in a driving scene if I were in charge of music for a film or something. I've no idea what music would be a distraction and cause crashes vs what would be relaxing or whatever.

I have to say through experience that trance is the best night time cruising music:

Ministry Of Sound: Trance Nation Anthems Disc 1
Godskitchen: Worldwide Disc 2

For day time driving I just listen to whatever favourite music I'm currently listening to. Almost never listen to the radio.

yeah i get really pissed off when i'm driving someone else's car and there's only a radio. it's like :confused: i had to listen to a fucking black eyed peas special on the way home once, i wanted to smash my friends car into a pole.

Yes. And possibly one of the better Mobb Deep songs missing is "Hoodlum" Ft. Big Noyd and Rakim. Oh and:

KRS - Sound Of Da Police
Beans - City Hawk
Last Emperor and RZA - The One

the Queen- Greatest Hits album. all of those songs are great to drive to. and also, though its been mentioned, my childhood soundtrack is the Beach Boys. when i listen to it now, all i can picture is driving up to Nelson Bay in our old Kingswood. great songs. i especially love 409 and Sloop John B

when i hear the gangsta crap blaring from cars it makes me sick, i much rather rock+indie and alternative, and a bit of dance.:
* cog - real life
* pinback - syracuse
* van she - kelly
* cascada - hurricane
* the presets - girl and the sea
* grand national - talk amongst yourselves
* anabolic frolic - elysium
* falloutboy - dance, dance

+ oldies music:
* fleetwood mac - tell me lies
* natalie cole - this will be
* dionne warwick - walk on by
* dave edmunds - whip it
* irene cara - what a feeling (flashdance)
* tears for fears - everybody wants to rule the world

this will be playing when i get my p's. haha hopefully in the next 3 weeks!
