hi,

half yearly is coming up and struggling with english..i need some help on how to start it.

Can i start it like this?

it's like an intro to a movie how the narrator talks then the story begins..something like that.

Just have good concept, and develop your language throughout your story

concepts..concepts..i had one in my mind for some time , it goes like:

- (character) is a 27 year old, lives a moderate life, dislikes any bad doings(killing, robbing, etc).
- One night (character) is robbed, where his brother, dad gets killed, his mum gets taken hostage, (character) notices a note on the kitchen table, asking for a ransom of XX amount, and to drop it at xx.

etc etc.. lol

original? or overused? i'm not good at these things lol :\..
