No shit mate, but our hotel (like most im guessing) doesnt allow bottles.

oi dude they say they dont allow bottles,

but u can usually be nice to the seccys and they will let u drink the bottels in your hotel room,

they only get pissed if you drink bottles in pool areas and on concreet areas.

call up your hotel and double check man.

beers in cans are shit hahaha but drinkable dude...

How are they going to know you're drinking from bottles in your hotel? It's not like they go through your luggage.

Just don't be a dickhead with them, so don't throw them off your balcony. Also, put them in bins the next morning away from the hotel.

apparently pretty much all the bottleshops in surfers sold out of everything in cans prettttttty fast, so apartment complexes and stuff eased up on the rules a bit

or so i'm told, idk there were basically no schoolies staying at my work

Not sure about other places, but the Mantra at Lorne is very tight. Many people had there drinks taken from them even if they weren't drinking them at the time.
