uai is a very good measure... i understand wat ur saying about how some are more naturally able than others but that doesn't mean anything... its like having a powerful engine in ur car, but never ever going over 60km/h... no matter hu u are u have to work, ull have to work less if ur smarter and that less work will be more productive than a less intelligent person...
so y do u say its not a good measure... it measures commitment, desire... how badly a person wants to be something... im sure there are builders out there hu dropped out in yr 10 with the ability of anything, i got a selective school... there are loads of these people roaming around... but u dunt feel sorry for them... u pitty them... they could be big people... but they just dunt care.. they wanna go out and get drunk every night of the week... some try to care, but get riduclued by their dumb cunt friends...
they'll never really change... until they absoultely need too... so it is a perfect measure... how can u complain? i just dont see it :S - no offence intended
anyway, flyer... acturial studies is probably the only exception ? wouldnt u agree? and other HIGHLY specialist fields... acccounting at UNSW has a cut-off of 96 but ims ure sum1 with 80 could achieve satisfactorilly in it...
so im still confused to y u said that remark so early in the thread :S but anyway, im over it...
