At the end of this year Im going to transfer from B AppFin to B Com Finance -
I was looking at the recomended program for B Com Finance and it recomends that a student does both ACCG100 & ACCG101 - Ive done ACCG105. Does that mean if I transfer I will have to do both ACCG100 & ACCG101?

Thanks for your help

a bit more flexible in terms of choices for subjects. Mind you, you will not be able to do FIN310.

Recommended, means just that. ACCG1B is essential if you want to do ACCG200 level and 300 level

To Luke! - In BAppFin ACCG253 and ACST201 together are worth 4 credit points while in BCom (Finance) together they are worth 6 credit points. Implication is that changing to BCom (Finance) means I only have to do 22 subjects provided that I do both ECON200 and ECON201

To Supra: So your basically saying that if ACCG105 allows me to do all the subjects I want to at the 200 level and 300 level then ACCG105 is all that I need?

How does that work? I thought that CP value is same no matter what degree you are doing. They should be worth 3CP each no matter what degree you're doing.

EDIT: my bad, just looked it up

Required
either ACST200 Mathematics of Finance (4)
or
both ACCG253 - Financial Management (3)
and ACST201 - Financial Techniques, Instruments and Markets (3) 4

accg105 is interchangable with accg100

not sure if 101 is needed but at worse its 1 extra not 2 extra subjects
