Basic Italian Practice (1 Viewer)

I'm Filipino and currently studying Italian Continuers and Italian Extension. My writing and speaking skills are pretty adequate, but I have really poor comprehension skills in reading and listening. Can anyone suggest a really good method to improve on these skills? I have tried watching Italian news, movies, listening to its music and I am fine with all that. When my teacher talks to me fluently I can understand her but when it comes to an exam I have trouble comprehending and differentiating with their tone if they are being sarcastic or not.

Can anyone suggest some unique but simple methods to improve on comprehension skills?

I think they could be pretty relevant to you too.
I do continuers and extension as well. Love both courses although we have a mixed continuers/beginners class because there aren't enough beginners to make up a class. This can be a bit annoying at times but our teacher handles it well.
