Last year a raw mark of 78 got an aligned mark of 91.

But that was only last year, so don't take that as a guide for this year.

You know, with all this trend of strange questions so far. I won't be surprised if they include something so totally impossible, something like "derive the classical hydrogen model" and then find all these things *without* being spoonfed the formulae.. or a 20 page essay on how HSC Physics has impacted on your understanding of Physics. (was that withoutafaces idea?)

excuse me sorry to but in.But I need help, can somebody help me with the astrphysics dot point 3? how do you compare Blackbody radiation with the production of emission and absorption spectra? pleeeeease? a Band 6 kinda answer will be nice... i know iam in the wrong thread, but iam desperate!

Similarities
Black body and emmision spectra are radiated in all directions and caused by radiation of energy.
Black body is dependent on source, not effected by materials the EMR passes trhough

Differences
Absorption spectra only visible in direct path of light as caused by absorption of EMR. Best explained with a diagram.
Absorption and EMR are not dependent on source rather what they pass through.
Black body is a continuos spectra dependent on temperature not composition
Emmision and absorption are line spectra dependent on the composition of the material the EMR passes through.
Emmision and Absorption dependent on amount of material.
Stellar absorption spectra will normally be superimposed onto a black body curve.

That is off the top of my head there will be other bits I missed or better ways of expressing it.

anything over 80 raw will definitely get u a band 6
u gotta remember physics is a high scaling subject
