my english teacher told our class that no one IN THE ENTIRE STATE had recieved a band 6 in standard english for quite a few years now.

I was wondering if this was true, and if so, why is a 'standard' subject so difficult to obtain a band 6, when extension students recieve it regularly?

tell him/her to get on his/her hands and knees and...
get a new teacher thats up to date...
last year 74 people got a band 6 in std
2007=23 people
2006=7 people
2003=1 person
obvioulsy its growing each year...
its hard to get a band 6 in std becasue, well most of the people who can get a band 6 should be in advanced.
