Band 6 Cut Off??? (1 Viewer)

Well, Newy Uni offers 2 extra UAI points for a band 6 in SDD.
So Im assuming it does scale very nicely. I'd take a guess at like 84/100 would get a band 6?

I think i can manage it, I am in the top 3 in my class of 9, us three being the only three who actaully do compete.

Funny enough, the guy coming first is visually impared, and still managed to come 1st in the nation at some computer coding comp. He taught himself C++, VB, HTML and other languages when he was like 10.

So, I doubt ill beat him ahaha

no one left in my class, instead one girl sits opposite to me keep wondering around for like half an hour and work on the paper again instead for only 15 minutes(she didn't study)
i heard one of the smart classmate said if you got 88 it will scale down to 66
i find that hard to believe
i thought some people will leave early but no one did, i thought i will finish early but ended up rushing... damn...

i dont really get how u get ur final hsc mark for sdd
i know u get a raw mark from in school assessment. its supposed to be 50% of ur mark.
the teacher scales ur raw mark before sending it in.
what happens to the exam mark and ist there anything done or is it just added 50% school + 50% exam?
im really unsure about it
so what exactly is the point of bands?
