just wondering if its possible to get a UAI in tha 90's even if u get an adv eng mark in the (high) band 4's coz umm.. it sorta looks like im headed that way.

But it can go the other way as well.

Remember the UAI is an aggregate of scaled marks so even though someone scores a band 4 for advanced english it doesnt automatically disqualify them from 90+ UAI.

my english teacher has been marking the hsc for ages and ages and she said anyone who is gets 75 or above in hsc advanced english is a good mark as it is rare for people to get in the 90s for english

Yes it is possible. Guy at my school got 78 he ended up with 99.30

Its a bit hard to tell, it all depends on the candidature. This guy got the following marks in the HSC

3u- 97 4u- 98 Bio- 92 Chem- 96 Physics- 98 Eng Adv- 78

Hopefully that might give you a better indication
