Hey guys , how long will we have to walk to our next class if we have back to classes?

Also, do we only have tutes or lecturers first week? I remember someone saying we only have one or the other the first week. Why is this?

lectures are for learning new material. Tutes are about discussion about lecture material (generally). Therefore no tutes first week, because in most cases you havent learnt any material yet (eg you might have your Tutorial time before your first lecture in that week).

back to back classes can be problematic if they are on opposite sides of the campus especially if they are both tutes. Some participation graded tutorials are a bit anal about when you arrive, but most units arent and some people just casually walk in 10-15 mins late and the tutor doesnt care. You should guage the tutor care factor in the first tute. If you think it will be a problem then tell the tutor you have back to back classes and you will try get there ASAP. If you are coming from a lecture, just leave the lecture a bit early...
