Bachelor of Science (Statistics) what should i expect? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I just finished my HSC and the description of the degree BSc (Statistics) sounds interesting to me but i don't exactly know what to expect, in terms of after finishing the degree what career prospects are there? will i be in demand? Could i potentially go overseas with this degree such as the U.S.? and stuff along those lines.

You might be able to find a job with ABS, but generally speaking science students usually find it hard to get a job after graduation. Unless you were super smart and got the best marks.

Go to www.seek.com.au and do a search and see if anything pops up.

ABS is obvious. CSIRO as well (you may need to develop some computing skills as well)
RBA if you have some economics knowledge.
