dunno if you're gonna read this but I finished advanced dip of accounting at tafe. maths is OK as long as you can remember some formulas and rearrange equations, e.g. EOQ formulas, CAPM, indifference point. i think the course has changed a bit since i've completed it tho. (2011)
job opportunities after finishing are horrible though. you won't be able to get bookkeeping, assistant accountant or even data entry if you don't have any exp. the only reason a person should go to tafe is to transfer to uni afterwards IMO.
