Has this course been canceled for future students? If so, is there a way around it to get the same or similar qualifications?

Thanks.

I was considering doing this degree

PE Studies 3: Court and Striking Games (EDUC1016) / Course Handbook / The University of Newcastle, Australia

lol

I gather they're changing the program from Bachelor of teaching/x specialisation, to Bachelor of teaching(secondary- or primary as the case may be)/x specialisation.

This is happening for all newcastles teaching courses, there'll be two different programs for secondary or primary now, rather than a general teaching degree.

If you check the UAC website it says "Teaching programs offered by the University of Newcastle have undergone a review. See new courses for details of courses to replace these cancelled courses."

Goes on to list all the teaching courses as cancelled.

And then in the new courses section it includes:
481060 B Teaching (Secondary)/B Health & Physical Education

Of course Newcastles website hasn't been updated yet with these new courses, and just says "coming soon"
