The assume knowledges for nursing are HSC mathematics and Science. I was wondering how much maths is incorporated in nursing and how important is this? With maths is it like more 2U stuff or things from General maths?

Any help will be great, as you all know preferences are due in soon ( tmr night =P)

Thanks

Check the course handbook for the University you are interested in. I checked Wollongong's (the uni I'm hopefully going to), and I didn't see any math subjects incorporated into the nursing course. This most likely means that there will be an absence of 'hard' maths.

nurses needs maths to work out medication doses so yes it is important but it is pretty basic maths. You don't need to know trigonometry or calculus or anything.
