UAI 96.35

Chemistry - 78
Software Design & D - 82
English Advanced - 90
Mathematics Extension 1 - 97
Mathematics Extension 2 - 92

I only studied for 4unit maths and Adv English since they were the two most important scalers. Which I think was a pretty good plan. Gave me plenty of free time to get drunk and stuff.

I remember back in the day when I decided to drop to std and people kept telling me I had no hope of getting over 90 if I didn't do advanced.

NSW UAI: 99.65

Work harder on English Advanced - its more important than the others - im sure ill get 20 dickheads telling me about scaling and weighting etc, BUT because of the massive candidature, every little bit better u get makes a massive difference - if ur goal is realistic then english adv will make or break u
How did you only get 99.65 with those marks? I mean, yeah 99.65 is brilliant but your marks seems deserving of a whole lot higher, considering that they all scale well also.

OMG OMG OMG. You guys are going crazy! Hix.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. Many of your marks are like well above 95, how come you don't get 100 tho? Or at least 99.95! Those marks are awesome!

You mean even if E is your worst subjects, it's still be taken toward the calculation of your UAI? 'cuz otherwise I don't think your E/A did affect your UAI.

I have to agree with the previous posts...

Work so hard that it becomes habitual and you'll end up surprising your self.

Playing around with SAM is also a really good idea. It lets u set realistic goals.

I always dreamed of a UAI above 90 full stop, but i surprised my self with 97.45

"Your UAI is based on an aggregate of scaled marks in 10 units of UAI courses comprising:
- your best two units of English and
- your best eight units from the remaining units."
