Is there a chance to get an atar of at least 80+? Provided i do well in trials and smash externals?

Yeah 85+ is doable.

In reality you might only just get an 80 or a high 70, but I still reckon you have a chance at a much higher mark.

Apply for FEAS at UNSW just in case so you don't miss out.

That's if you want to go to UNSW for software engineering.

Well I am also eligible for educational access scheme so maybe I'll apply for that as well. What are the other options to get into software engineering at unsw? Science (computer science) and transfer over?

They are similar degrees and you could get the same job with either degree but keep in mind they still have "high" cutoffs.

Take EAS where possible.

That "provided" condition in your original post usually doesn't happen. I find with a lot of my students that I tutor have their shit together but the ones that don't have given up

I'm left with these options:

Software Engineering UNSW - 91.05 (Unlikely), Applying for Access Scheme. (5 points or 10? not sure.).

Software Engineering USYD - 91.05 (Unlikely), Applying Broadway Scheme. (5 points).

ICT (Software) UTS - 85.00 (Possible), Also applying for inpUTS (10 points).



Computer Science and Technology USYD - 81.80 , Applying for Broadway Scheme.

If it doesn't go to well my other options are:

UTS: Insearch - Engineering or UNSW PREP.
