I'm aiming for an atar of 98 but will be happy with anything over 90. Do you think it is acheivable?? My ranks are.....
extension 1 maths- 2nd/18
advanced maths- 2nd/25
chemistry- 3rd/11
physics- 3rd/13
biology- 1st/16
advanced English (not sure overall rank but I came 9th in my class of around 25 people)

thanks in advance

Ha, you reckon that's a small grade? My year has about 30 students and my largest class is about 10 students.

As for the OP, 98 is at this point a bit of stretch. In order to attain the top ATAR at your school (which would probably be around 98-99 based on your moderately high school ranking), it is highly recommended that you're within the top three for everything and can ace at least a couple of subjects. But work hard, and you can get there. :)

A school in the early 300s predictably. But it's pretty good actually; I get personal tutoring for most of my subjects and our 2009 DUX got like 97.55 which is pretty decent I reckon.

I'm guessing you go to a top 50 school?
