sure,

eng: 83/105
phys: 92/100
chem: 82/100
mx1: 80/84
mx2: 95/120

they were school made assessments- chemistry and 4u were definitely much more challenging than past hsc exams so far, also i just suck at english in general lol :( the rest were HSC style.

If you can maintain those marks in the HSC, you are certainly bound to get very close to 98 or even above 98 by alittle (96-99). Make sure that your maths marks are as good as the ones in your trials and try to get your english mark closer to the 90s (because english is counted towards your ATAR so statistics have shown that students who do well in English are likely to do well). With these marks you are bound to succeed.

I reakon your looking at 95.5-97.5 maybe. 98 is a stretch, but its possible with a strong external performance.

thanks! so if i have a strong external performance i can reach 98. Also, what if my grade performs exceptionally well compared to previous grades? would that help?

If your grade performs better, then it will help. But in that situation, you still have to perform well.

yeh if you can repeat these kinds of marks on externals your looking at 3/4 band 6/E4's (physics and mx1 especially)

band 6 cutoff for eng is about 90/105 so if you can improve by 3-4 marks and your looking at high b5 mayb low 6

4 bang 6/E4 and band 5 are defs enough for 98 if you stay strong and consistent

Definite shot at getting over 95. But I'm not too sure about 98+ because you are ranked 17th in English and your school is between 90-100. I think 96.5-97

hmm but last year we had 15 people in adv english cohort get a band six...if it's similar this year (many say our grade is similar if not a better than last years grade) then i could scrape in with a high band 5/low band 6, that would be fine :)
