ATAR Estimate - If you'd care to... (1 Viewer)

I am aiming for 98+ as my ATAR (although I need nothing near it hehe).

Firstly, I'm in year 11 and these ranks are what is expected I get and also they are my ranks now anyway.

School ranking is usually around 250-300. (apparently my year is the best to come through my school and beat the year that got about ~160... but that is yet to be showed haha.)

English Advanced: 1/30
Chemistry: 1/15
Physics: 1/7
Mathematics Extension 1: 1-2/5 (If I repeat it >_>)
Mathematics Extension 2: 1/2
Studies of Religion: 1/68

I appreciate anyone's effort to take a stab at what I'd be looking at.

You know very well that your final ATAR will be determined by your performance in the HSC exams

But from what i know, i'm estimating 97+

Well of course ... but these are my ranks now and I imagine I can achieve the same ranks and push and study harder ^_^

97 sounds alright... I'll push that to a 98 for my goal's sake.

def...high..but i am sort of concerned about the limited people in ur classes...
but then again ur ranks are good.
In year 12...it all about the RANK...cos that is wat gets sent to the BOS. So if u get good ranks and also good HSC results then i think u can get 99+

Hehe, yea most kids at the school tend not to choose the better scaling subjects, yet they must perform quite well still to make the school rank quite decent.

I'm quite sure my year will prove itself to be the best that has been from my school. Hopefully put us in the top 150 ^_^

Ranks within your school only matter for scaling students in the school.

You're going to have to do really well in the actual HSC for the 98+ ATAR.

I expect you should be getting around 96+, though. If you can keep these ranks up and perform well in the HSC it might even be a 99+.
