For the sake of the bingo, and to show how accurate or flawed one's personal estimates can be, I'm going to bump up the bingo thread here. Take this as an example of how you serious should take personal estimates or those of others.

When the ATAR's are released, we keep going until someone can get within 0.5 of my ATAR.

For the sake of those who don't remember what I posted or it is too hard to find the important information or for people new to the bingo:

So, I'm going to post up an ATAR estimate for you guys to juggle with. Think of it as bingo.

First, my school is usually ranked in the low 600's ranging to the high 500's.

Subject: My ranks [What I am expecting in raw marks]

English Advanced: 3/20 [85/105]

Mathematics Extension 1: 1/8 [55/70]

Mathematics Extension 2: 1/3 [64/100]

Chemistry: 1/4 [80/100]

Physics: 2/10 [80/100]

Economics: 3/8 [70/100]


So after doing some moderating and aligning, I have come up with a few marks, which I scaled in a few ATAR calculators. They predict that I will get a 94.7.
My prediction is a 93. Just to be safe, I have to assume for the worst and say that my ATAR could be anywhere between 75 to 98.

What do you guys think?

By the way, if no-one is within 0.5 of my ATAR when released, we will keep playing until someone can get a close enough approximation.

After much, much consideration, I think that my raws could have the following worst case scenario:

English Advanced: 80/105

Mathematics Extension 1: 50/70

Mathematics Extension 2: 60/100

Chemistry: 70/100 (Got 19/20 mc woot!)

Physics: 65/100 (Got 14/20 in mc ffs)

Economics: No idea, maybe even 50/100 (won't count any way)

What do you think is the minimum ATAR that I could possibly get now according to my raws?

The bingo is still up for grabs, and I will let everyone have a best case scenario guess, which are locked in now, and a worst case scenario guess, which are open for bidding now.
