Thermistors have mainly physical applications in thermodynamics and has allowed the user to control the desired heat output from the heating source as opposed to wood fires in the early ages.
Thermistors often take advantage of the physical properties of materials such as the thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion, where a material's expansion or contraction varies linearly with temperature.
At a certain temperature threshold two conducting materials may come into contact and switch the appliance on or off.

were to start
- he thought at marathon and was one of the 10 strategoi (generals)
- he convinced the people of athens to create a fleet of ships from the silver they found at laurium (it was a mine)
- he fortified the piraeus harbour and connected the piraeus to athens through the building of walls
- he convinced the spartans to fight at salamis
- he was at artemisium (he wasnt the commander as sparta was in control of all forms of military might but he did have some control)

this isnt all the information on themistocles.
just reread the your textbook
it's all there.

good luck
