Hi guys :D

I want to research some artist's for HSC but I have NO idea where to start.

I'm going into year 12 this year.

The only artist I've chosen is Banksy.

Uh It's stuff (y'now animation, cartoons and all that)suggested you pick artists you like, so here's a basis of the kinda stuff I like in art:
I love unrealistic, anythings thats beautiful, space, animals, nature, I love weird and bizarre things too.

Thanks Pals <3

I'd recommend choosing artists who have do quite distinctive media.

For example, you could use the artist Alberto Giacometti as he has a distinctive style and covers a variety of different media.

Try some of these artists and artworks:

Anselm Kiefer's installation piece Sternenfall/Shevirath Ha Kelim (currently housed at MONA, Tasmania)

Anish Kapoor (his artworks range from paintings to sculptures to installation art, but check out the paintings from his show at Lisson Gallery)

Yang Yongliang's film Infinite Landscape (currently shown at the Art Gallery of NSW)

William Kentridge's short film series 9 Drawings for Projection, and in particular, 'History of the Main Complaint'
